2. Go to Trezor.io/start
Visit Trezor.io/start to begin your setup journey. This official page has everything you need to securely set up your device.
3. Download and Install Trezor Suite
Trezor Suite is the secure software you’ll use to manage your assets.
Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Choose the desktop version for added security, or use the web version if you prefer.
Install Trezor Suite and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
4. Connect Your Trezor Device
Using the provided USB cable, connect your Trezor to your computer. The Suite will prompt you through setup.
5. Install Firmware (If Needed)
If your Trezor device doesn’t have firmware installed, Trezor Suite will guide you through this step. This process is crucial for security, ensuring your device is up-to-date.
6. Set Up Your New Wallet
You’ll have the option to:
Create a New Wallet: Perfect for first-time users. Your Trezor will generate a 12, 18, or 24-word recovery seed – write this down on the provided sheet and keep it safe. This seed is essential for wallet recovery.
Important: Store your recovery seed securely. Never share it with anyone or save it online!
7. Set Up Security: PIN and Passphrase
PIN: Set a unique PIN to unlock your device each time you use it.

8. Add Your Cryptocurrency Accounts
